US. 2004000490 Chang, S. A method to mark an aluminum object includes the steps selective anodizing and coloring the aluminum substrate; providing a mask with a pattern in the same shape as a m a r k to be formed on the aluminum object; irradiating a portion of the anodized surface of the aluminum substrate with an ultraviolet beam through the pattern until the desired mark is formed on the anodized surface. The color of the mark is lighter than the anodized surface of the aluminum object, or gradually changes to the color of the anodized surface of the aluminum object. Kasamatsu, T.; Ogawa, O. et al. A sliding m e m b e r with excellent seizure resistance comprising a metallic m e m b e r provided with a sulfide-based solid l u b r i c a t i n g layer on the sliding surface t h e r e o f is provided, characterized in t h a t the interface of the metallic m e m b e r in contact with said solid lubricating layer is provided with a s u r f a c e r o u g h n e s s R m a x of l p m or higher. The sliding m e m b e r above is obtained by preparing an a q u e o u s solution dissolved t h e r e i n one or two t y p e s or more of t h i o c y a n a t e s or t h i o s u l f a t e s of alkali metals of alkaline earth metals, and by performing electrolytic t r e a t m e n t in w h i c h a steel m e m b e r the s u r f a c e r o u g h n e s s t h e r e o f is controlled is used as the anode. In this manner, an iron sulfide based layer is formed on the surface of t h e steel m e m b e r by u s i n g the Fe c o m p o n e n t derived from the steel and the S component from the solution as the reacting agents. US. 2004001964 (Canon KK) Den, T; Iwasaki, T e t al. A method of manufacturing a nanostructure, which enables cylindrical pores arrayed according to any periodic p a t t e r n to be easily made on a substrate over a large area at a low cost in a short period of time. The method of manufacturing a structure having such pores includes the steps of preparing an opt. aluminum substrate having recesses in its surface, providing a film on the surface of the substrata and anodizing the film.
