Hilge adds two pumps to established range Hilge Pumps Ltd has introduced a further two models to the already established range of ‘SIPW liquid-ring, self-priming pumps manufactured from 315 stainless steel. Pump models ‘6’ and ‘52’ fit into the range at low- and highend flowrates. The Sipla range can now satisfy applications with flow rates up to 52 m3/h and differential heads up to 40 m. Excellent suction characteristics ensure that lifts of 8 m are achievable. In addition to this the new design has reduced noise levels considerably. CIP scavenge duties are an ideal application for Sipla pumps, as are all applications where there may be negative suction head or air entrained in the product, Three versions of the pumps are available. The first is of standard construction, while the second has a stainless steel motor shroud and ball feet. The third version, a mobile unit, is mounted on a stainless steel trolley complete with starter and cable.
