FROM THE EDITORS

Impact Factor 2002

I

t is with great enthusiasm and pride that we announce that Liver Transplantation has increased its impact factor from 2.13 a year ago to 3.03, which ranks our Journal second among all transplant journals and immediately behind Transplantation. This remarkable milestone has been reached because of the dedication of our Associate Editors, Editorial Board, and of course our authors from transplant centers all over the world who have sent a growing number of excellent clinical and research papers con-

tributing to the global character of the Journal. We expect this achievement will result in increasing interest of authors throughout the world who will hopefully submit their best work to our Journal. In the future, we will continue to focus on fast decision making and publishing to disseminate new information in a timely fashion. With your help we will continue to expand and enhance the quality of Liver Transplantation. We believe that Liver Transplantation has a major impact in the field of transplantation.
