International news Important forthcoming meetings of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) XIII International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial S u r g e r y - 20-24 October 1997, Kyoto, Japan Topics will include oncology, cleft lip and palate, reconstruction and traumatology. There will be consensus and educational sessions, limited attendance clinics, and free papers (oral, posters, videos). Deadline for submission of abstracts is 31 March 1997.
