Announcement [Editor’s note: We would also like to pay tribute to Judith Wilkerson, another serials colleague, and include her In Memoriam from the September 2005 issue of the NASIG Newsletter, with additional comments.] Judith Carol Wilkerson, a long time member of NASIG, died June 10, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after a seven-month battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was employed as Head of Serials Services at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library. In 1985, she received the Master of Library and Information Studies degree from the University of Oklahoma. She served an internship at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland, in 1985. From 1985 to 1990, she was employed by the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as a librarian. Her last fifteen years have been dedicated to professional medical librarianship at the Bird Health Sciences Library. She joined NASIG in 1989, and most recently served as NASIG liaison with the Medical Library Association.
