Computer progrmm were developed to determine t h e resl~nse o f the pile and %he ~ a l frequency of the system. Tests were conducted on a small-dimension instrumented pile and the experimental results for m~ments on the beam and pile were compared %o the analytical solutions using the independently determined pile and soil properties.
