The total value of the order, which includes nearly 100 AngeL gel permeat=on columns and many accessories, is in the reg=on of £150,OO0. This success follows ARL's partlc=patlon in the Bnt=sh Industrial Technology Exhlb=tlon in Peking in March last year. An N900 X-ray fluorescence analyser was sold at the exh.b~tion and ARL hope to win a lot more export business for British analytical instrument systems in the People's Republic of China. The gel permeation equipment, which =s the subject of the present order, was first introduced by ARL in 1972 and =s intended for apphcat~ons revolving the measurement and dlstrlbutuon of elements of relatively high molecular weight.
