Sensorless minimum flow tripping protects the driven pump’s mechanical seal against damage caused by dry running. Two variable relay contacts are integrated into the drive as well as four digital and two analogue inputs for a multitude of monitoring and control functions. Additional serial interfaces enable parallel pump operation. This makes for a reduction in plant costs since separate systems are not required.
