Pruftechnik AG offers its own line of m e a s u r e m e n t a n d calib r a t i o n i n s t r u m e n t s with which users of the Optalign, Rotalign a n d T u r b a l i g n / C e n t r a l i g n syst e m can check specific accuracy of sensors to t r a c e a b l e stand a r d s (i.e. in c o n f o r m a n c e with ISO 9001 r e q u i r e m e n t s ) . The calibration system, k n o w n as Cali-Chek F, l e n d s itself ideally to use, for example, in n u c l e a r power plants, since it m a y be left in place w i t h i n the c o n t a m i n a t i o n zone.

Submersible barrel pump from Iris. liquids from barrels directly to a process. Flow r a t e s u p to 3600 c m 3 / m i n with viscosities to 25,000 cPs at pressures u p to 650 psi are easily h a n d l e d by these i n d u s t r i a l - g r a d e p u m p s . The pulseless, r e p e a t a b l e flow is accurate to 0.25%, because the p u m p head is fully submerged at the b o t t o m of the barrel. It can never leak or lose its p r i m e as it meters liquid down to the last eighth of a n inch. C o n t i n u o u s or batch operation is provided by either AC or DC variable-speed drive motors a n d closed loop controllers. A p p l i c a t i o n s for t h e IBMP i n c l u d e m e t e r i n g dyes, additives, two-part urethanes, epoxies a n d m a n y other liquids w h e r e p r e c i s i o n m e t e r i n g is required.
