Mann+Hummel expands production capacity in India Mann+Hummel India has laid the foundations for a new production plant for automotive components in Bawal near New Delhi. The new plant, which is due to start operating in early 2012, will produce filter systems for the air and fluid management of engines, mainly for passenger cars.
The Bawal plant is being set up to cater for Mann+Hummel India’s customers in Northern India who are currently served by the company’s facility in Tumkur near Bangalore. The plant in Bawal will speed up delivery times and reduce transport costs. www.mann-hummel.com
Gilde Buy Out Partners to acquire Gamma Holding Dutch private equity company Gilde Buy Out Partners has made a €29 per share takeover offer for Gamma Holding NV in partnership with European investment firm Parcom Capital Management. Gilde and Parcom have agreed to transfer their shareholdings in Gamma into Go Acquisition which is making the public offer

Aker Midsund wins separation equipment deals worth NOK180mn Aker Midsund AS has secured a NOK120 million contract to deliver four separator and scrubber packages to Hyundai Heavy Industries for the Goliat FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) in the Barents Sea off Norway.
Aker Midsund has also signed a NOK60 million contact with Aibel AS to deliver two separator and scrubber packages for the Gudrun project in the North Sea. Aker Midsund is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aker Solutions. www.akersolutions.com
Eriez Hydroflow relocates to new facility in Ohio Eriez Hydroflow has moved to a new, state-of-the-art sales and engineering office in Maumee, Ohio, USA. Eriez recently acquired Hydroflow Filtration Systems and the Systems Equipment Division of fluid recycling products from The Andersons Inc.

New head of Champion Laboratories Wolfgang Winzer has been appointed president of Champion Laboratories Inc where he will be responsible for the worldwide growth of filtration products including the Champ, PetroClear, Kleener and Luber-finer brands. Winzer joins Champion Laboratories after serving as president of Webb Wheel Products Inc, a manufacturer
of wheel-end solutions for the heavy-duty truck and trailer market. Winzer has also served as vice president and general manager of Siemens VDO Automotive Corp - North America’s Aftermarket and Specialty OEM business units. Before moving to the US, he worked for VDO in Germany. www.champlabs.com
