MAYO MEDICAL LABORATORIES WORKSHOPS February 3 to 7, 1992 Problem-Oriented Case Studies in Surgical Pathology Palm Springs, California A "hands-on" approach will be featured at this conference designed for practicing and resident pathologists. After a brief case history presentation, participants will be asked to review corresponding slides and formulate a diagnosis and patient-management strategy. A Mayo Clinic pathologist will then discuss the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, patient management, and other pertinent features. The cases selected for presentation will be representative of relatively common diagnostic problems associated with pathologic conditions of the lymph node, breast, thyroid gland, liver, lung, bone, and soft tissue; aspiration cytology of the thyroid will also be addressed.
