MITOCHONDRIA

The method of enzyme technique was used to observe the epfect of Wstosterone(T) on enzyme ectivity of my-dial m~hondria(MIT) in non-infarct area(NIA) of my-dial infarotion(MI) of rate. SD rats were divided inthree groups: MI. MIT(the ligating coronary artery with the injection of T) and NC(norma1 control). The results are followed: 1. one day mr MI,The activities of monoamine oxidase(MA0) and CaATPase in MI and MIT were higher than that of NC(p

Institute,

An experimental model of heart aneurysm was performed by the occlusion of left anterior descending coronary artery and by the introduction of pyrogenal in high doses within a period of the first 4 days of the myocerdial infarction (MI) in 18 dogs. Prostaglandin E2 (PG E2) was used in 9 dogs slowly Intravenously from the 5 hour to the 7th day of the IM. During MI the contents of crsetine kinase, aspaminab-ansferase, diene conjug-. oxyproline. myoglobin, ACTH, adrenaline, cortisol and leucocy-tosis was debermined in the blood. The outoome of the healing wes controlled on autopsy on the 15th day of MI. microscopy was also carried out. It was established that, the introduction of PO E2 prevents the development of heart aneurism, induced by the employment pyrogenal in dogs with MI. A point of view was assumed about the mechanisms of the protective effect of PG E2 through the modulation of the inflammatory process in the Ml zone.

OF EXPERIMENrAL

Role of geometrical heterogeneity (GH) of the internal surface of the wall of the left ventricle (LV) in the development of P CR is not defined. The hearts of 2 groups of people were studied. Group 1 is canposed of the hsart of 35 deceased who died violently without any signs of damages to the cardiovascular system. This group wes used to get E postmortem CR. They are reproduced with the help of elastic balloons introduoed into the cavity of the LV and oonnecbsd tD a source of pressure. Group 2 is made up of the hearts of 39 deomsed who died from P CR. The localizgtion of E and P CR in the wall of the LV was studied. It was indicated that the frequency of localization of E and P CR is higher in the region of GH, which refers to the points where the septum inter-ventricular joins the anterior and the posterior walls of the LV, the edges of the papillary muscles. The resu?ts oan be expla’lned by the concentration of tension in the region of GH. The applioation of the infarction zone to GH can promotzs the development of P CR. S.191
