Metering pump aids critical process control The mROY pump includes new features for enhanced safety, improved hydraulic efficiency, easier start-up and maintenance. The pump's housing and liquidend materials deliver steady-state accuracy of ±1.0% over a 10:1 turndown ratio to ensure precise delivery of critical or difficult fluids. The metering pump provides flow ranges from 0.20 gph (0.8 l/hr) up to 87 gph (330 l/ hr) in a simplex configuration. mROY series metering pump.

Milton Roy has upgraded its mROY series of metering pumps to meet the demands of critical chemical processing. The company says that the upgraded pump has a set of technical and performance advantages that deliver extreme accuracy and high reliability across challenging environments and applications.

Milton Roy says that the pump remains proven in hundreds of thousands of installations worldwide with some pumps operating at design performance for 20 years or more. It also boasts a three-year warranty along with a hydraulically balanced diaphragm for 96,000 hour design life.

With the latest generation of pump seals, eMG1 and eMG, EagleBurgmann has launched a further development of the million-fold proven MG1 on the market.

The eMG1 is 100% compatible with the well-known MG1 standard seal. EagleBurgmann says it has been innovated in detail and functionally expanded. A vastly reduced outer diameter of the bellows support now allows direct support by a retaining ring or with the use of much smaller spacer rings. The optimized bellows shape improves the automatic alignment of the

handled through the innovative design of the SKG. The company adds that the robust construction prevents downtime and reduces maintenance for longer life.

Each pump will now offer two impeller trims to expand BJM’s hydraulic coverage. Each model will retain the same construction, including motor, while offering smaller diameter impellers to reach lower head requirements. This ability to offer trimmed impellers, with the same HP motor, will also provide the ability to handle industrial liquids with specific gravities higher than water.

This provides manufacturers with new opportunities in pump construction: e.g., a more compact design due to shorter shafts with the associated material savings and increased efficiency. www.eagleburgmann.com

It was designed for draining IBCs via their floor-level outlet and is an alternative to vertical immersion pumps. When accessing IBCs from above is impossible or very difficult, such as when containers are stacked or ceilings are low, the MiniFlux enables pumping directly at the floor-level outlet. It is suitable for media with a viscosity of up to 1 000 mPas. In comparison to gravity draining via the IBC outlet tap, Flux says the MiniFlux enables a considerably higher delivery rate and delivery head. Depending on the media and motor, either up to 240 l/min

can be transferred or a delivery head of up to 13 mwc can be achieved. This means that the media can be rapidly filled into the container or transported to an elevated container. FLUX showcased the MiniFlux at POWTECH, Nuremberg, Germany on 19-21 April. www.flux-pumps.com
