Micropump targets OEM with brushless DC drive
The Nash Engineering Co, vacuum pump specialist, has introduced a new range of medium size liquid ring vacumn pumps. The new single stage Nash Vectra range can handle capacities from 150 to 5000 M~/~ lr with a vacuum capaEility down to 65 mbar and differential pressure capabilities to 2 bar, effectively replacing the existing SC range although for existina users these will continue to be a~ailable.
M~cropump has announced the release of a new line of compact OEM brushless DC drive solutions in a bid to woo the OEM customer. Based on Micropump's patented Integral Series drive, these high precision drives combine a pump and integrated brushtess DC drive technology into a single unit. With features like reduced costs, smaller size, and builtin speed control, the OEM brushless DC drives are targeted at the requirements of the OEM customers. The new drive feature a reduced s~ze with a drive stator connected directly to the pump. The drive stator operates the pump electromagnetically, with no moving parts or direct contact with the internal pumping components. To reduce costs and provide
