Minerals Engineering conferences. Abstracts should be sent to "Minerals Engineering '96" by the end of March 1996. Authors wiU be notified of acceptance, or otherwise, by the end of April, and final papers will be required by the end of September 1996. Papers accepted for publication will appear in special issues of Minerals Engineering.
International Symposium on Biotechnology in Minerals Engineering March 25-27, 1996 Falmouth, Cornwall, England This symposium will cover all aspects of the use of biotechnology in minerals engineering- bioleaching and processing, tailings treatment, pollution control, remediation, etc. The meeting will be held at the Falmouth Hotel, one of the finest hotels in Cornwall, overlooking Falmouth Bay, and only a short walk from the town centre and harbour.
