Small stature. Variable; apparently postnatal onset, usually in childhood Clinical. Short extremities with or without waddling gait; joint limitation with discomfort in hips, knees, and ankles Roentgenograms. Epiphyses: late irregular ossification with hypoplasia and flattening; short femoral neck; with or without short metacarpals and phalanges, metaphyseal flaring, and flattening of vertebrae with reduced intervertebral space Etiology. Autosomal dominant Comment. Early osteoarthritic changes are a problem.
