The advertisement will be included in repro proof form in the APhA NPPW kit for pharmacists to give to their local editors. Adult responsibility also is pointed up in the dramatic red, white and black poster that APhA has developed for the 1970 observance. The poster states-"For every child accidentally poisoned each year, there is an adult responsible. Are you a responsible adult?" The poster comes in a new size, 11 inches wide by 17 inches high, and replaces the horizontal display streamer issued by APhA for past observances. Single copies will be included in the APhA NPPW kit; single and bulk quantities may be ordered separately using the order form on this page. In addition to the ad mat reproproof and the poster, the NPPW kit will contain a counter card, bumper sticker, news release, editorial, fact sheet, speech, proc1:amations for state and local officials, radio and television copy, a list of NPPW materials available throughout the country and other items. The material can be used by pharmacists and their organizations for year-round institutional and professional advertising in addition to the NPPW observance. The television announcements can be used alone or in conjunction with the colored slide sent to all television stations by the National Planning Council. (Pharmacists who wish to personally deliver slides to their local stations should request them from the APhA communications division.) The NPPW kit is the first installment of the 1970 APhA Public Relations Service. Those wishing to subscribe to the service-at a savingsmay use the order form. As a PRS subscriber, members receive an NPPW kit and a National Pharmacy Week kit for $5, a savings of $1 over the $6 total price of the two kits if purchased separately during the year.
