New Editors Named for Historia Mathematics lifter considerable deliberation over the past year, the Executive Committee of the International Commission on the History of Mathematics takes pleasure in naming Eberhard Knobloch of the Technische Universitat (Berlin) as the new Editor of Historia Muthematica, and Helena Pycior of the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) as the new Managing Editor. Their responsibilities as editors off.cially begin on January 1, 1986 (each for a term of four years). Both Eberhard Ktt obloch and Helena Pycior are well known to readers of Historia Mathematics; th8 y are accomplished scholars with international reputations, and the Executive Cammittee of the Commission wishes them every success in their new positions.
