The efficiency of the filter range, which accommodates flow rates as low as 5 m 3 h -1 up to 1450 m 3 h -1 allows vacuum pump exhaust to be discharged directly into clean work areas when the nature of the exhaust gas permits. The filters eliminate the need for vents, ducts or exhaust pipes and prevent the accumulation of oil in exhaust systems and chemical scrubbers. Expensive inert lubricants can also be collected by the exhaust filter and returned to the pump for re-circulation.
