reported worldwide. Eobroscus (Eobroscus) lutshniki (Roubal, 1928) is recognized as the

INTRODUCTION
The species belonging to the genus Eobroscus are very rare, and thus far only four species of
D
two subgenera, Eobroscus (Eobroscus) lutshniki, E.(Orobroscus) bhutanensis, E.(O.)
TE
masumotoi, and E.(O.) uenoi, have been reported worldwide (Bousquet, 2003; Lorenz, 2005;
CE P
Morita, 1995; Morvan, 1982; Hackel et al., 2010). This genus is primarily distributed in Asian countries, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, and the Russian Far East. Eobroscus species are easily distinguished from the allied genera by the
AC
robust body, cylindrical shape of the basal pronotum, sometimes with faint intervals of the elytra, and a strong purple or greenish luster dorsally. Sometimes, 5th male abdominal sternite has a protuberance. The aedeagus is distinguished by the ventral lobes of the genitalia and pubescent hairs of the parameres. The specimens examined here were deposited in the Entomological Laboratory of Kyungpook National University.
