A rotary parts washer that uses phosphate-free, biodegradable materials for highly effective cleaning is now available from Almco in a choice of parts basket sizes and single- or two-stage designs. The washer features an exclusive filtration system that cleans and recycles the wash solution. Four RPW Series models are available with parts baskets measuring 2, 2% 3, and 4 ft2. The basket rotates at 5 rpm for the number of minutes specified with spray coming from the top, sides, and bottom in the wash chamber, and can accommodate large parts such as transmission cases, valve bodies, gears, shafts and housings, or any number of assorted machine items.

The diaphragms are made of chemical-resistant PTFE. A polypropylene head, Viton valves, and 0 rings comprise the other wetted parts. Flow rates for the pumps range from 0.26 to 13.2 gal/hr while pressures range up to 290 psi. Also available is a microprocessor pW ORP controller, which can control up to four pumps with four separate relay outputs.
