Minor Revision. 2.2. Comments to the author

1.2. Comments to the author * This is an interesting study evaluating the predictors of acute diverticulitis severity. * The review is well written. * Unfortunately the study adds nothing new regarding the definition of complicated diverticulitis, as the author was not able to reach a definite definition of complicated diverticulitis. * Second; the author was satisfied with listing the studies' results without performing a meta-analysis to confirm the validity of results. * It would be nice to add a table with the listed predictors of severity with the positive and negative predictor factors of each parameter. * Finally, the reader would like to have a clear cut message regarding the patient's selection for early surgical intervention versus conservative management. In addition, to hospital admission versus treatment on outpatients basis.

First I would like to thank the authors for the effort spent in answering the questions raised in the first review. The following points needs to be considered: 1. In the methodology section the search strategy the author didn't mention the number of the table outlining the literature search. 2. References should be revised according to the journal format as stated in the instruction to authors. 3. The author stated that the literature search was limited to English literature yet reference number 41 was not in English.
