Kernco has introduced the Series CP-600 Contact Angle Meters designed to measure adhesion wetting of the liquids to solid surfaces or adhesions tension as well as testing the wetting or nonwetting of a liquid against a substrate. These meters are ideal for use in R&D labs as well as on production line. These models are bench-top optical devices that use a projection screen image coupled with a protractor device to obtain the reading. It eliminates the microscope-base design thus allowing more than one person to observe the droplet and read the measurements. There are ten models available.
Fischer’s Poroscope HV20 and HVBOD are idea instruments for pore tests using high voltage. Both models search for probes and defects in linings and coatings made of enamel, lacquer, rubber, and bitumen as well as in containers made of GFK and other synthetics. Now pores and cracks not visible to the eye can be found in electrically nonconducting protective coatings with the Poroscope. The LCD display shows the high voltage in kV that is present directly at the electrode. Test voltage is continuously adjustable.
