Halogen bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes [(4,4¢-diethylester-2,2¢-biquinoline)2Cu2(l-X)2X2] (X) = Cl), Br)) show square-pyramidal coordination geometry and strong antiferromagnetic coupling interaction.
The reactions of N-(2-furylmethylene) imines 2 and tert-N-(2-furylmethyl)benzylamines 5 with Na2PdCl4 in the presence of NaOAc at 8–10 C afforded palladium coordinated complexes 3 and palladacycles 6 derived from the CPhenyl–H bond activation, respectively. It is clearly demonstrated that ligands 5 are more active than 2 in regioselective CPhenyl–H bond activation.
Three cubane-type complexes have been synthesized by a minor modification of the Schiff base ligands and the type of bases. Based upon the structural features within the cubane core, the magneto-structural correlations of the three compounds were successfully analyzed.
Three p-allylpalladium(II) carbene complexes, [H2B(ImR)2]Pd(p-allyl) (H2B(ImR)2 = bis(3-alkylimidazol-2-ylidene)borate, R = Mes, 1a; Cy, 1b; tBu, 1c) and their B–H fluorinated derivatives were synthesized and characterized. The molecular structures of 1a and 1c were determined, in which the coordination geometry around the Pd atom is distorted square planar.

These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra UV–Vis, 1H NMR and X-ray crystallography.
New Mn–Ln heterobimetallic coordination polymers formed with 1H-benzimidazole5,6-dicarboxylic acid ligand exhibit threedimensional networks and possess the PtS-type topology. Furthermore, the photoluminescence of 1–4 and magnetism of 4 and 6 were studied.
Four novel Ba(II), Zn(II) and Sr(II) imidazole dicarboxylate-based coordination polymers have been prepared and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The thermal and solid-state photoluminescence properties of the four complexes have been determined as well.

Two 3D bimetallic coordination polymers with rutile-type structures, M(tvp)2[Ag(CN)2]2 (M = Mn and Cd, tvp = trans-4,4¢-vinylenedipyridine), were synthesized. The tvp ligands are ‘‘threaded’’ through the meshes of the immediately adjacent networks and bound to the Ag atoms in subsequent network, resulting the Ag+ ions are three-coordinated triangle.
A new flexible carboxylic derivative of the 2,2¢:6¢,200 -terpyridine ligand and a series of dicarboxylate ligands with ZnII cations produce five diverse coordination polymers under hydrothermal or solvothermal conditions. The five complexes were crystallised in three structural types by changing the length of the dicarboxylate ligands. This investigation demonstrates that networks may be modified by bridging carboxylate ligands.
Bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane-tetracarboxylic acid and tris(pyrazol-1-yl)methane-hexacarboxylic acid as well as their organotin derivatives have been synthesized. These organotin complexes exhibited remarkably different supramolecular aggregates.
Five coordination polymer crystal materials (1–5) based on two flexible bis-pyridylbis-amide ligands and three aromatic dicarboxylates have been hydrothermally synthesized. The fluorescent, electrochemical and photocatalytic properties of complexes 1–5 have been studied.

Five Ag(I) complexes constructed by the unsymmetrical bent-shaped ligand 2-(pyridine-4-ylthio)pyrazine (2-PTP) have been synthesized with various silver(I) salts, and the anion influence on the structural diversities has been discussed.
Three Ca(II)/Zn(II) heterometallic complexes with 3D, 3D, and 2D MOFs, featuring 2-D zinc layer, 1-D zinc chain, and 0-D zinc elongated bridge were obtained under hydrothermal conditions at controlled pH, respectively.
Five new coordination polymers have been synthesized and structurally characterized from the tetrahedral linker tetrakis(3-pyridyloxymethylene) methane (L) and different carboxylates. In addition, the effect of the position and amounts of aromatic carboxylic groups on the conformational diversity of L and the luminescence of the polymers have been discussed in detail.
Two tetra-nuclear cyanide-bridged molecular square complexes [MII(dppm)2 (CN)2(CoIICl2)]2 (M = Ru, 1; M = Os, 2) (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino) methane) were synthesized and fully characterized. Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibilities indicate the presence of a weak spin-canted anti-ferromagnetic in 1 and of only a weak anti-ferromagnetic coupling in 2.

In this paper, we report three polymers which were obtained by 3-(pyridin-3-yl)1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid (HPPC) and M (NiII, AgI, CdII) under solvothermal conditions. The different coordination modes of HPPC result in one 2-D polymer and two 3-D polymers.
This mini-review highlights some of the recent success stories in the development of lanthanide coordination compounds for biomedical imaging applications. Examples of the three largest areas in biomedical imaging, namely MRI, optical imaging, and multi-modality imaging probes are discussed, illustrating the thinking behind these developments.
Five Cd(II) coordination polymers with 2,3¢,5,5¢-biphenyl tetracarboxylate or mixed 2,3¢,5,5¢-biphenyl tetracarboxylate and N-donor ligands have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Moreover, fluorescent properties of these complexes have also been investigated.
With a series of chiral pyridine-based tetradentate pyridyl-thiazole ligands L, three types of binuclear helical metal complexes were synthesized. The structures of these helicates were characterized with CD spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.
