To the Members of the American Dairy Science Association:
The University of Minnesota is proud to host the 64th annual scientific meeting of the American Dairy Science Association on the Twin Cities Campus June 22-25, 1969. The Land of i0,000 Lakes is also a land of over a million dairy cows on some 50,000 dairy farms, and the University, as the state's land-grant institution, has a high degree of involvement in the dairy industry, both in education and research. We are eager that you see some of our dairy plants and dairy farms, and arrangements are being made so that you may do so either before or after the meeting. Dr. S. T. Coulter, Head of the University's Department of Food Science and Industries, is serving as chairman of the General Con~nittee in charge of arrangements. Assisting him is Dr. C. L. Cole, Head of our Department of Animal Science, as well as other members of the Association representing the industry of the state, who will join the University faculty as hosts. We look forward to entertaining you on the campus in June. Sincerely yours,
