We appreciate the insightful comments from Dr Paraskevas regarding our article on Times trends in hospital admissions and mortality due to abdominal aortic aneurysms in France. We understand the importance of an accurate evaluation of the impact of aneurysm size on survival following abdominal aortic repair. Unfortunately, the size of the aneurysm is not reported in the national hospital administrative database used in this study.
