They can also top and tail their trip with visits to the Edinburgh International Festival and tours of Scotland’s natural beauty spots. This rare congress should prove a rewarding investment to all involved in project management or considering entering this sector. Exhibition of project management services Since 1967, members of the 4 000 strong International Project Management Association, INTERNET, and those involved in managing projects, have gathered every three years at a selected European city to attend an INTERNET World Congress to discuss the latest developments in this growing field. This year, for the first time, this special event will be backed by a dedicated major exhibition of project management services. From as far afield as Australia and Austria, companies have booked in at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow, to show their range of services. The companies will be as diverse as major contractors like the CEGB, management consultants like

The growing popularity of exhibitions for high profile image and sales promotions, is reflected in that fact that over 80% of the 1 200 m2 display area has already been reserved with six months to go before the congress. Delegates from 25 countries, representing national development

agencies and leading international companies will hear talks on important projects at the conference such as the Channel Tunnel, Wytch Farm Project, and discuss them at seminars and workshops. Ample time has also been specially set aside for delegates to visit the exhibition.
