A c i d o is t o t a l l y non-asbestos. Materials scientists developed the new m a t e r i a l from s p e c i a l b l e n d s of i n o r g a n i c a n d o r g a n i c fibres, b o n d e d w i t h a c h e m i c a l l y r e s i s t a n t e l a s t o m e r . Acido c o m e s in five s t a n d a r d t h i c k n e s s e s from 0.5 m m to 2.0 m m , a n d s h e e t sizes 2 m b y 1.5 m a n d lmby 1.5m.
