A new range of quick-strip selfp r i m i n g p u m p s which are particularly suited to h a n d l i n g liq u i d s e n c o u n t e r e d i n food, d r i n k a n d p h a r m a c e u t i c a l applications, has been i n t r o d u c e d by P u m p Engineering. The CSF-AS series of side c h a n n e l centrifugal p u m p s incorporates the i m p o r t a n t features associated with hygienic applications such as sturdy construction in 316L AISI stainless steel for all wetted parts, smooth m i r r o r polish finishing of all surfaces a n d t h e facility for quick and simple dismantling. These p u m p s , which can deliver flow rates u p to 55 m3/h at p r e s s u r e s u p to 6 bar, are also capable of h a n d l i n g liquids cont a i n i n g air b u b b l e s or foam. This m e a n s the p u m p can be u s e d to p u r g e p r o c e s s l i n e s w i t h o u t being affected by the

The new models, l a u n c h e d on the back of the 'B' and 'D' ranges, will c o m p l e m e n t the s t a n d a r d universal-joint Orbit p u m p s in specific segments of the industrial and mining markets.
