There were 24 presenters from multiple disciplines including chiropractic, medical, osteopathic, acupuncture, athletic training, physical therapy, and strength and conditioning. Four outstanding keynote speakers, Jim Muir, Sinjin Smith, John Smith, and Ian Walsh, provided plenary addresses. Seahawks and recipient of a 2014 Super Bowl ring, was recognized as the 2015 Sports Chiropractor of the Year. Abstract award recipients were David Foster, DC, DACBSP (Best Original Research–Leonard Schroeder Award); Christopher Roecker, DC, DACBSP (Best Multi-Disciplinary Abstract); Gerald Anzalone, DC (Best Abstract–John N. Joe Horrigan, DC, DACBSP, chairperson of the 2015 CSSS, developed a vision for this event after conversing with a colleague who remarked that he always attends specific conferences each year because if he missed one, he would become obsolete. This conversation inspired Dr Horrigan and the ACBSP to set the goal of making the annual CSSS so powerful that participants appreciate the value in attending and learning about up-to-date sports practice information. As the ACBSP plans future symposia, it will continue this trend of excitement, dissemination of invaluable information, and highquality speakers to make the CSSS an event that cannot be missed.
