The President banquet was a delightful black-tie affair in the gorgeous setting of the Chapelle du Petit Seminaire. Attendees were immersed in an opera world throughout dinner by four singing vignettes. Dr Yasbeck congratulated Dr Neil Weizman who was installed as the new president of CAPS. In his emotional acceptance speech, Dr. Weizman reminded us how, as pediatric surgeons, we have an important role as mentors for our trainees. Dr Sigalet extended a warm invitation for the 38th annual meeting of CAPS September 7 to 10th in Calgary.
