Third European Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of Edinburgh, Scotland, September 15–17, 1996 The Third European Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences will be held on September 15–17, 1996, at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. The multidisciplinary scientific program will focus on current trends and future perspectives in the pharmaceutical sciences, with invited plenary and keynote lectures by distinguished scientists and oral and poster presentations. The key themes in this Third Congress will include molecular design of drugs, molecular recognition systems, novel drug delivery systems, routes of administration, polymers for drug delivery, analytical technology, phytochemistry, cancer chemotherapy, clinical pharmacy, pharmacology and toxicokinetics, and drug development. In addition, recent research in all areas of the pharmaceutical sciences will be presented in thematically linked streams of short communications and poster presentations. There will be some sessions where authors of posters may present a short synopsis of their work as a poster discussion under the chairmanship of experienced scientists.
