Standard features include variable frequency drives and dynamic braking for smooth acceleration and deceleration. TRANSPORTERS/HOISTS

PAL Sales Inc. Bethlehem, Ct. Gate or overhead transporters are fabricated from epoxy-coated stainless steel. AC-geared motor units are used for both lift and traverse. Normal configuration is 2-speed lift and 3 speeds for traverse. A joystick or remote control unit is available for manual hoist operation. All safety interlocks are standard. Hoist control is achieved through the PAL OSST JWin control system, a UNIX-based control system using a Windows-type format. This system is in operation on over 200 machines worldwide.
