The Keeler Low Vision System has been developed over many years to provide the visually handicapped with a full range of optical magnifiers. The special Test Charts developed by Charles Keeler are used at ten feet for distance testing and ten inches for near testing. This is demonstrated to be ideal for those with subnormal vision. This unique test system is the only method to assess visual acuity from 20/60 to 20/1000 in one step intervals while predicting magnification needs at the same time. To reduce fabrication time and cost, a universal mounting sleeve may be used. This threaded sleeve is glued to the patient's spectacle lens and accepts the full range of single lens bifocal segments, galilean widefield telescopes, and prism telescopes. The one-step mounting procedure provides total flexibility to interchange aids were necessary. Catalog available LVA 51 Multi-Cap System The Keeler Multi-Cap System is the answer for patients who have visual acuity of 20/200 or better-it is three aids in one and is unique. All models allow the viewer to switch from black on white to white on black images, enhance the picture's contrast and brightness, and vary the magnification as needed.
