Welcome notice for Joaquim Jorge After many years of excellent service to Computers & Graphics the Editor-in-Chief, Jose´ Encarnac- aou will be leaving us. I would like to thank him here for all his dedicated work to the journal and for bringing it to where it is today. At the same time let us welcome Joaquim Jorge, who will be following into his footprints. Joaquim is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Instituto Superior Te´cnico, The School of Technical Engineering of the Technical University of Lisboa, Portugal. He has a long history in the field of Computer & Graphics, including more than 100 publications (authored or co-authored) in peer-reviewed journals.

I am very happy that he accepted the position of Editor-inChief for Computers & Graphics and am looking forward to work with him on the journal. You, as a reader and possibly author of the articles published in Computers & Graphics can expect the same level of quality as you have been enjoying the last years.
