We havo received particular; of three types of quartz lamp now on the market for ultra , violet therapy. 'I'hese three types of "mountai n-stm " lump, aR they arc styled, arc known respectively as tho Bach Mountain Run for ordinary usc, the .Iesionek Mou ntn.in Sun for larger rooms or for the simultaneous treatment of several pe tients, and Hcusuers Sollux lamp-i-nn intense heat radiator which milo)' be used either with the Bach lamp to supply additional hent, or by itself where the production of a local hyperremia is desired. New and cheaper models which have been brought out include a hanging Ba.ch lamp for usc on cither continuous or iloltcrnating currents, and a small portable Sollux lamp, which, however. is only su i tabl« for local irradiation of circumscribed lutluuuuntory processes.
