Beckson Marine's portable Super Pump can shift double the volume of common diaphragm pumps.

The .524 Thirsty Mate S u p e r P u m p moves a p p r o x i m a t e l y 113 lpm or roughly twice the a m o u n t m o v e d by c o m m o n diaphragm pumps. Unlike diap h r a g m models, which m u s t be m o u n t e d for p r o p e r o p e r a t i o n , the Super Pump can be : m o u n t e d o r left free t o b e moved to where it's most needed. The 1.8 m o u t l e t hose directs the water stream overboard. The end of t h e 1.2 m i n t a k e hose h a s a s t r a i n e r valve to keep out debris that could d a m a g e o r clog t h e p u m p . Both hoses are m a d e of rugged, wirereinforced vinyl. A check valve p r e v e n t s w a t e r w i t h i n t h e p u m p from r u n n i n g b a c k o u t t h e intake. This m a x imizes t h e v o l u m e m o v e d with each stroke, which is a b o u t 1.9 1. The self-priming p u m p is m a n u f a c t u r e d in t h e USA o u t o f n o n - c o r r o d i n g m a t e r i a l s , including a polyvinyl grey b o d y a n d shaft.
