SAM EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENT DATABASE

To enhance employment opportunities for members of the Society for Adolescent Medicine, SAM has developed a job placement database. This database contains openings from Institutions having employment opportunities and for individuals looking for employment. GOALS: • •

To enhance the dissemination of employment opportunities for SAM members. To help adolescent health programs and agencies locate qualified individuals with experience and training in areas of adolescent health care.

MECHANISM: Programs, agencies or hospitals with an opening for an Adolescent Medicine/Adolescent Health position in any discipline need to complete and submit a standardized form. These forms may be obtained by contacting the SAM Office. This service is $50.

Individuals who are SAM members or individuals currently in-training in an Adolescent Medicine/ Nursing/Nutrition/Psychology/Social Work Fellowship looking for employment opportunities need to complete and submit a standardized form. This form will include information on the type of job and location being sought. Forms may be obtained by contacting the SAM Office. This service is free; completed forms are retained for six months.
