The conference will focus on fundamental and applied developments in quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometry. Included will be the use of ionization techniques such as electrospray and MALDI; structural characterization using MS/MS, MS” and ion/molecule reactions; fundamental principles of operation; and applications to biochemical and other types of systems. The program will include invited speakers and contributed posters. evening session followed by two sessions each on Sunday and Monday will have ample time for discussion.

Its purpose is to meld the expertise of investigators who are involved in fundamental studies, instrumentation, chemistry, and applications that involve the most recent advances in the specific area addressed by the Sanibel Conference. Registration is limited to 125. If more than 125 registrations are received prior to the deadline, preference will be given to applicants whose field of research most closely relates to the topic of the Sanibel Conference.
