8th International Conference on Boundary Element Methods in Engineering 22-25 September 1986 The dates of the 8th International Conference on Boundary Element Methods in Engineering (BEMVIII) are now fixed on 22-25 September 1986. The Conference BE VIII will be held at the National Educational Center in Tokyo annexed to the Japanese Ministry of Education. The Conference is sponsored by JASCOME (Japan Society for Computational Methods in Engineering), ISCME and WIT (Wessex Institute of Technology). Masataka Tanaka (Shinshu University, Japan) and Carlos A. Brebbia (Southampton University, UK) will serve as the Conference Chairmen. Queries about this Conference should be sent to the Conference Chairmen, in particular the Japanese-speaking people are recommended to write to Prof. M. Tanaka at the following address: Professor Masa. Tanaka, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Shinshu University, 500 Wakasato, Nagano 380/Japan. Others can write to: Dr C. Brebbia, Computational Mechanics, Ashurst Lodge, Ashurst, Southampton SO4 2AA, UK.
