Re: Irritable Bowel Syndrome According to Varying Diagnostic Criteria: Are the New Rome II Criteria Unnecessarily Restrictive for Research and Practice?, an Original Communication published in the November, 2000 issue on pages 3176 –3183. The author notes there was an error in the abstract. The prevalence rates for IBS according to Manning, Rome I, and Rome II criteria were reported as 4.4%, 6.9%, and 13.6%, respectively. These figures are in the wrong order, and the correct text should read 13.6%, 4.4%, and 6.9%. These are the correct figures as cited in the Results section of the article. Re: Zuckerman et al.—Sensitivity of Ca-125 in Patients with Liver Cirrhosis in the Presence of Ascites, a Letter to the Editor published in the January, 2001 issue on pages 253–254.
