The judging of papers entered in the competition is left in the hands of the Award Committee, which is as follows: Dr. L. C. Norris, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, Chairman; Dr. E. M. Funk, University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri; Professor R. E. Cray, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio; Dr. E. P. Johnson, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, Virginia; Dr. D. C. Warren, Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kansas.
Authors of papers to be submitted for the competition are responsible for advising the chairman of the committee of any paper published in other than POULTRY SCIENCE, and for the forwarding of a copy to each of the five members of the committee and the secretary, to arrive not later than June 30. Papers published in June, 1940, will be included in the 1940-41 year, since the month of June was not included in the 1939-40 year. (Continued on page 154)
