AOC opens gel-coat facility AOC HAS extended its service to North American customers with the opening of a new facility for the development and production of gel-coats at its Collierville, Tennessee, USA, headquarters. The new gel-coat centre is said to be 'world-class'. The company already operates gel-coat facilities in Canada and Mexico. Head of AOC's gel-coat business Jeff Dommeyer says the new gel-coat facility is capable of producing high performance, high quality products for all markets, including gel-coats needed for low-HAP (hazardous air pollutant) requirements set by new US Environmental
Gel-coats produced in the Collierville facility will be sold direct and through AOC distributors.

Thai Composites Association backs RP Asia 2004 THE THAI Composites Association is supporting Reinforced Plastics’ first trade show in Thailand. RP Asia 2004 takes place in Bangkok on 1-2 September next year. This will be the fifth RP Asia event in the series and the first to be held in Thailand. Reinforced Plastics will also be exhibiting at the Polscitech and Composite 2003 exhibition on 24-27 November 2003 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. This event combines the 8th Pacific Polymer
