CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION PHYSICIANS The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASTRO designates this educational activity for a maximum of 40.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsÔ. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. PHYSICISTS Application has been submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Program for CAMPEP credit. TECHNOLOGISTS Application has been submitted to the American Society for Radiologic Technologists for designation of Category A continuing education credit. DOSIMETRISTS Application has been submitted to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board for designation of MDCB credit. NURSES The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is accredited as an approver of continuing education for nurses by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Application has been submitted to ONS for designation of CEU credit.
