The 1991 Cryogenic Engineering Conference and 1991 International Cryogenic Materials Conference will be held jointly on the campus of The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 11 to 14 June 1991. More than 450 abstracts have been received, so we look forward to a strong technical programme. In addition, an equipment exhibition (CryoExpo) will display the latest cryogenic equipment and materials. Huntsville, Alabama, has had a leading role in the development of cryogenic technology. This grew out of the early work on liquid fuelled rockets that led to the development of the Saturn series of large rocket boosters and to the propulsion system for the Space Shuttle. Tours of the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center facilities will be available during the conference. We look forward to welcoming you to Huntsville. We expect the conference will have many exciting presentations on new developments in cryogenics. Please join us in Huntsville in June!
