The Falk Foundation e.V., Freiburg i. Br., F.R.G. announces the creation of the Hans Popper Award for achievements in research of liver diseases; the prize is US$ 25 000. It will be awarded every three years, the first time on Thursday, October 12, 1989, during the Basel Liver Week.
