A recent study by Consultex SA of Switzerland entitled “Long and ~n~uo~ fibre reinforced ~~0~1~~ - the prognosis for Europe” estimates the current annual business at around DM 60 million. This is forecast to rise dramaticahy to over DM 1 billion by 1995. The study covers granular products, sheet materials, powder-impregnated fibre products, thermoplastic bulk moulding compounds, thermoplastic fibres co-mingled with reinforcement fibres, and thermoplastic prepregs using high performance fibres and resins.
