An 84-inch (2134 mm) diameter Vibroscreen Circular screen Separator is now available from Kason Europe. This new unit has been designed and manufactured to fill the gap between the 72-inch (1830 mm) and loo-inch (2540 mm) diameter units. The screening area of the 72-inch diameter unit is about half that of the lOO-inch diameter unit.

A series of vertical and horizontal cartridge collectors for nuisance venting and product collection, has been launched by Nosokawa Mikropul. The cartridges are claimed to have advantages over competitive designs by using bar cradles to support the filter cartridge along its full length. This feature relieves the gaskets of uneven mechanical pressure, eliminating the main source of gasket deformation, and so preventing leaks that could aflow contaminates to escape. The cradle supports also prevent tube plate warpage. The cartridges can be utitised with various filter mediums such as paper, felt, and Nomex fire’retardant / spark resistant materials for high temperature applications. The standard paper cartridges provides nuisance venting for light dust loads operatlng in areas of ambient temperatures including; Abrasive cleaning machines; Shot blast-Sand, blast; Over spray areas from Electrostatic Spray paint; and other light duty applications. Accessible side doors allow cartridge replacement in both horizontal and vertical collectors within minutes by quick twist clamp release to withdraw the cartridge. This method of operation eliminates exposure of materials to workers and is suitable also for hazardous mat$riat and toner industries.
