It was, therefore, timeIy for Keysser to write his exceIIent work. Any surgeon, in whatever speciaIity, wouId do we11to study Keysser before taking up eIectrosurgery. After outIining the history of the deveIopment of eIectrosurgery and accurateIy describing the underIying physical principIes and the apparatuses used, he describes the technique in detai1 and carefuIIy discusses the biophysica1 effects. He then takes up the diseases treated, one by one, iIIustrating the resuIts with especialIy cIear pictures. Keysser’s results are apparentIy remarkabIe and the pubIishers have reproduced the iIIustrations in a most commendabIe way.
