HLL developing new campaign for Hamam Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) is developing a new advertising campaign for its 70-year old herbal skin care soap Hamam, which has about 25% share in Tamil Nadu market and about 9.5–10% in the all India market. In 2001 the US and W European markets were worth $2–2.5 bn in total. Demand was shared between conditioning polymers (25% of the total), speciality surfactants (15%), antimicrobials (15%), emollients (10%), rheology control agents (9%), ultraviolet absorbers (9%), active ingredients (9%) and hair fixative polymers (8%).
